Chemical Peel Process

Chemical Peels – Offering Skin Improvements

Chemical peels are great because they can target many different skin conditions. As many people have more than just one concern with their skin, a peel can fortunately help improve many problem areas. Some areas of concern a peel can help improve are:

  • Sun damage, such as hyperpigmentation
  • Dull skin from dead skin cell build up
  • Rough texture
  • Dark spots
  • Scarring
  • Acne
  • Fine lines
  • Wrinkles
  • Oily Skin
  • Dry Skin

Customized Solutions

I (Dani Leo – Your aesthetician at Radiant Skin) have a variety of different chemical peel solutions I use during my treatments that are customized for what your concerns are. My peels range from light to a deeper layered peel. During a free consultation I will perform a patch test to rule out any potential reactions and we will go over which peel is going to be best for you based on your concern, the amount of down time you would like (none – 4 days) and your skin type.

With the client’s photo here it shows you an example of my mid-depth chemical peel service. The first photo is going to show you what his skin looked like immediately after the service was done. Notice how the skin is not red afterwards, and is a peel that could be done on one’s lunch time break.

The shedding process of the skin starts on day 2-3 after the peel service. With the mid-depth peel you can expect to have your most shedding around the mouth and nose, as the shedding becomes lighter and moves out through the face to the hairline. The skin sheds typically goes into the 4th day.

This clients concern was adult acne and damage to his skin from acne as a teenager. This was his first mid-depth peel and you can see on day 7 that his breakouts were drying up and healing, his skin tone is brighter and smoother and his  fine lines in his cheeks have less depth

The last photo was taken on day 7. This is the day you will notice with all my peel services that the skin has changed. Makeup will go on flawlessly, skin is hydrated, brighter, breakouts are going away and skin is looking radiant.
